Costco internet packages for seniors should understand an important distinction: Costco works with selected third-party providers and currently promotes member offers involving services such as AT&T Fiber and T-Mobile Home Internet.

That means Costco members may be able to access particular internet promotions through Costco, while households wanting a traditional TV and internet bundle may also need to compare providers such as Spectrum or other cable, fiber, and wireless companies available at their address.

This 2026 guide compares current Costco-linked internet offers, TV and internet bundle alternatives, speeds, prices, equipment, availability, streaming options, and what seniors should consider before choosing a provider.

Does Costco Offer Cable TV and Internet Packages?

As of September 2026, Costco's official website prominently features internet-related offers from:

AT&T Fiber
T-Mobile 5G Home Internet

Costco's member-services information explains that selected services are supplied by third-party companies and may not be available in every market.

Costco does not currently advertise one universal package called a Costco Cable TV and Internet Package for Seniors with one monthly price, one channel lineup, or one nationwide internet speed.

This distinction matters.

A consumer may encounter a Costco-linked internet promotion while still needing to choose a separate live-TV service, streaming service, or traditional cable package.

Costco Internet Deals: What Is Available in 2026?

The two most visible home-internet relationships on Costco's current website are AT&T and T-Mobile.

These services work differently.

AT&T Fiber delivers wired fiber-optic home internet where its fiber network is available.

T-Mobile Home Internet can deliver internet over T-Mobile's wireless network where sufficient service is available.

Neither option should automatically be considered better for every senior household.

The right choice depends on:

Address
Availability
Monthly price
Required speed
Number of connected devices
Streaming use
Installation preferences
Mobile-service relationships
Current Costco promotion

Costco AT&T Fiber Internet Plans

Costco currently has a dedicated AT&T Internet member-offer page.

The published 2026 plans include:

AT&T Fiber Plan	Advertised Download Speed	Published Monthly Price
Fiber Internet 300	300 Mbps	$50/month
Fiber Internet 500	500 Mbps	$65/month
Fiber Internet 1000	1,000 Mbps	$80/month

These are advertised figures and availability depends on address.

Costco's current AT&T page also advertises up to $150 in Costco Shop Cards with qualifying purchases of AT&T Fiber plans of 1 Gig or higher, with the current promotion showing an end date of September 30, 2026.

Terms and restrictions apply.

This is a Costco member promotion connected to AT&T service rather than a separate Costco-operated internet network.

Is 300 Mbps Enough for Seniors?

For many one- or two-person households, 300 Mbps can provide substantial capacity.

Activities that generally do not require gigabit internet include:

Email
General web browsing
Online shopping
Social media
Video calls
Telehealth appointments
HD streaming
Smart-home devices

A senior household with one television, a tablet, smartphones, and occasional video calls may therefore find that an entry-level fiber package already provides considerably more bandwidth than needed for normal use.

Gigabit service becomes more relevant when a household has:

Many simultaneous users
Numerous connected devices
Multiple 4K streams
Large downloads
Heavy cloud use
Gaming
Work-from-home requirements

Paying for the fastest available plan isn't automatically necessary.

Costco T-Mobile Home Internet

Costco also currently promotes T-Mobile Home Internet to members.

The Costco offer advertises up to $325 back when qualifying customers sign up for T-Mobile 5G Home Internet.

The published Costco promotion includes a combination of a prepaid-card promotion and a Costco Digital Shop Card, subject to eligibility requirements and waiting periods.

T-Mobile's standard Rely Home Internet plan currently lists:

Monthly price: $60

with:

Unlimited data
Typical 5G download speeds of approximately 133–354 Mbps
Typical upload speeds of approximately 12–55 Mbps
Router
No annual contract
No early termination fee

T-Mobile also has additional home-internet plans and discounts that depend on mobile-service relationships and current promotions.

Availability must be checked by address.

Costco T-Mobile Internet vs AT&T Fiber

These two Costco-linked options use very different technologies.

Feature	AT&T Fiber	T-Mobile Home Internet
Connection	Fiber optic	Wireless 5G
Entry published price	$50/month for Fiber 300	$60/month for Rely before eligible discounts
Entry published speed	300 Mbps download	Typical 133–354 Mbps download
Data	Plan-specific terms	Unlimited on published Rely plan
Availability	Fiber-service areas	Eligible wireless addresses
Installation	Fiber connection may be required	Generally simpler gateway setup
Costco member promotion	Shop Card offer on qualifying plans	Promotional rebates/Shop Card offer

A fiber connection can provide highly consistent capacity where available.

Wireless home internet can be appealing where installation simplicity is important or where fiber is unavailable.

For seniors, the decision may ultimately come down to address availability and monthly cost rather than technology alone.

Where Does Cable TV Fit In?

This is where the phrase \"Costco Cable TV and Internet Packages\" requires care.

Costco currently promotes internet-provider relationships, but its official member-services pages do not show a universal Costco-operated cable-TV bundle comparable to a traditional cable company's TV-and-internet package.

Consumers wanting live television can therefore consider several approaches.

Option 1: Internet + Streaming TV

Choose home internet and add a streaming television service.

Option 2: Traditional Cable TV + Internet Bundle

Choose a local provider offering both services under one bill.

Option 3: Internet + Individual Streaming Services

Choose internet only, then subscribe to the specific entertainment services wanted.

For someone who watches only a handful of channels, internet plus streaming could be sufficient.

Someone who strongly prefers local channels, live news, regional sports, and a conventional TV guide may prefer a traditional television package.

TV and Internet Packages

Availability is one of the biggest factors in telecommunications.

A household may have access to:

Cable internet
Fiber internet
5G home internet
Fixed wireless
DSL
Satellite internet

but not necessarily every technology.

Traditional TV-and-internet providers can also differ by region.

That makes TV and internet packages a much more useful comparison than national advertising alone.

Before comparing prices, start by determining which providers actually serve the home address.

Spectrum TV and Internet Bundles

Spectrum is one example of a company currently advertising internet and television bundles.

Its 2026 website lists internet-only plans beginning at:

Internet Advantage — 100 Mbps: $30/month for one year

Internet Premier — 500 Mbps: $40/month for one year

Internet Gig — 1,000 Mbps: approximately $50–$60/month depending on the current offer

Spectrum also advertises bundles combining internet, mobile service, and TV.

Current published bundle examples show:

Bundle	Internet Speed	Published Promotional Price
Advantage + Mobile + TV	100 Mbps	$180/month
Premier + Mobile + TV	500 Mbps	$190/month
Gig + Mobile + TV	1 Gig	$200/month

These bundle examples currently include $100 attributed to TV and $60 to two mobile lines, with promotional pricing and a three-year price guarantee under the stated offer.

Pricing, eligibility, and availability vary by location.

The important takeaway is that a traditional TV bundle can significantly increase monthly costs compared with internet-only service.

Verizon 5G Home Internet

Verizon provides another home-internet alternative worth comparing where available.

Its current 2026 published base prices include approximately:

Verizon Plan	Standard Published Price
5G Home	$60/month
5G Home Plus	$70/month
5G Home Ultimate	$85/month

Eligible Verizon mobile customers using qualifying Auto Pay arrangements can receive lower effective pricing.

Verizon currently advertises plans beginning around $35 per month when applicable mobile and Auto Pay discounts are included.

Its plans also include a router, unlimited data under the published offering, and different price-lock periods.

Again, Verizon is not a Costco cable service. It is included here because consumers comparing Costco-linked internet offers may benefit from checking competing providers before enrolling.

Internet Providers: Why Address Matters

Internet advertisements often display an attractive monthly rate, but the provider may not serve every address.

Before evaluating a package in detail, check:

1. Service availability

Can the provider actually connect the home?

2. Technology

Is the service fiber, cable, or wireless?

3. Available speed

The headline maximum speed may not be available everywhere.

4. Promotional period

How long does the advertised price last?

5. Standard price

What happens when promotional pricing ends?

6. Equipment

Is the modem or router included?

7. Installation

Is professional installation required?

8. Contract

Does the service involve a term commitment?

9. Data limits

Is usage unlimited?

10. Cancellation terms

Are there early-termination charges?

This comparison can prevent a low introductory price from becoming the only factor in the decision.

Internet Packages for Seniors

There is not one national category of internet plans reserved for all seniors simply because of age.

Some telecommunications providers or assistance programs may offer discounted service based on specific eligibility requirements, but consumers should not assume that being over 55, 60, or 65 automatically qualifies them for a lower price.

For most older adults, comparing regular consumer plans remains important.

A practical senior household might prioritize:

Simple billing
Reliable connection
Included Wi-Fi equipment
Customer support
No long-term contract
Sufficient rather than excessive speed
Easy television access
Predictable monthly price

These factors can matter more than buying the fastest plan.

Internet for Streaming TV

A traditional cable package is no longer required to watch many television programs.

With sufficient home internet, consumers can use:

Smart TVs
Roku
Amazon Fire TV
Apple TV
Google TV
Streaming apps

The required internet speed depends on the number and quality of simultaneous streams.

One HD television stream uses considerably less bandwidth than several simultaneous 4K streams.

A household with a 300 Mbps connection can generally have enough capacity for multiple everyday internet activities at once, assuming the network is functioning properly.

Cable TV vs Streaming TV for Seniors

There are advantages to both.

Traditional Cable TV

May appeal to people who want:

Familiar remote control
Channel guide
Live local channels
News
Sports
One television bill
DVR features

Potential disadvantages can include higher monthly costs and equipment charges.

Streaming TV

May appeal to people who want:

Flexible subscriptions
No traditional cable box
On-demand viewing
Multiple streaming devices
Ability to cancel services individually

However, managing multiple apps and subscriptions can become complicated.

The best choice depends on viewing habits.

TV and Internet Bundle vs Internet Only

Bundling can be convenient, but convenience does not automatically mean a lower total cost.

Consider a simplified example.

Internet Only

Internet: $50/month

Streaming subscriptions: $40/month

Total: $90/month

Internet + Traditional TV

Internet: $50/month

TV package: $100/month

Total: $150/month

These are illustrations only, not provider quotes.

A household watching only Netflix, local news, and occasional movies may find internet-only service sufficient.

Someone who watches extensive live sports and cable networks may place greater value on a larger TV package.

Costco Internet Deals for Seniors: Are There Senior Discounts?

Current Costco AT&T and T-Mobile offers are Costco member promotions, not promotions limited specifically to seniors.

That distinction is important.

An older Costco member may be eligible for the same member promotion as another qualifying Costco member.

The current Costco offers should therefore not be described as:

\"Senior-only internet plans\"

\"Guaranteed senior discounts.\"

Instead, they are better understood as Costco member internet offers that seniors can compare alongside other providers.

Costco Membership Cost in 2026

Costco currently lists two primary membership levels:

Gold Star Membership — $65 per year

Executive Membership — $130 per year

Executive membership includes an annual 2% reward on qualifying Costco purchases, subject to applicable rules and limits.

Internet promotions should be evaluated separately from membership cost.

If someone is considering becoming a Costco member solely to access a particular telecommunications offer, the membership fee should be included when calculating the overall value.

Is a Costco Internet Offer Worth It?

A Costco-linked offer can be attractive when three conditions line up:

The Provider Serves Your Address

An excellent Fiber offer has little value if fiber isn't available at the property.

The Base Internet Plan Is Competitive

Compare the monthly service itself, not only the Costco Shop Card.

The Member Incentive Adds Real Value

A Costco Shop Card or promotional rebate can improve the initial economics of an offer.

However, an upfront incentive should not distract from a monthly plan that costs substantially more over several years.

Example: Comparing Internet Costs Over Two Years

Consider two hypothetical options.

Provider A

$50/month

24-month cost:

$1,200

Provider B

$65/month

24-month cost:

$1,560

Difference:

$360

If Provider B includes a $150 one-time incentive, the two-year difference would still be approximately:

$210

before considering taxes, equipment, installation, or other fees.

This illustrates why shoppers should compare both:

Initial promotion + ongoing monthly cost

rather than focusing exclusively on a gift card.

Internet Speeds: 100 Mbps vs 300 Mbps vs 500 Mbps vs 1 Gig

Higher numbers are not automatically better value.

100 Mbps

Can be suitable for basic households using:

Browsing
Email
Video calls
Streaming
A modest number of connected devices

300 Mbps

Can provide substantial capacity for:

Multiple streams
Several devices
Video calls
Smart-home devices

500 Mbps

Can suit households with:

Multiple simultaneous users
Higher-resolution streaming
Frequent downloads
More connected devices

1 Gig

May be useful for:

Heavy multi-user households
Large downloads
Gaming
Multiple 4K streams
Significant work-from-home use

Many senior households do not necessarily need gigabit internet.

Cable TV and Internet Providers to Compare

Depending on the address, consumers may encounter providers including:

AT&T
Spectrum
Xfinity
Cox
Verizon
T-Mobile
Frontier
Optimum
Google Fiber
Local cable providers
Regional fiber providers

Not every company provides both conventional TV and internet.

For example, wireless and fiber internet companies may place greater emphasis on internet service while customers obtain television through streaming platforms.

Questions to Ask Before Ordering Internet

Before activating service, ask:

What is the exact monthly price?
Is this introductory pricing?
How long does the promotional rate last?
What is the expected price afterward?
Is the router included?
Is Wi-Fi equipment an additional charge?
Is installation free?
Is self-installation available?
Are there activation fees?
Is there a contract?
Are there data limits?
What speeds are available at my exact address?
What happens if I cancel?
Is the promotional reward separate from the service contract?
Does the Costco Shop Card require a specific plan?

Questions to Ask Before Ordering a TV Package

For television service, also check:

Are local channels included?
Are regional sports channels included?
Is ESPN included?
Are news networks included?
How many televisions are covered?
Is DVR included?
Are receivers charged separately?
Are broadcast-TV fees additional?
Are regional-sports fees additional?
Does the advertised rate expire?
Can I stream channels outside the home?

A \"$100 TV package\" may cost more after equipment or other permitted charges are added.

Best Internet Package for One or Two Seniors

For a one- or two-person household primarily using:

Email
Facebook
Online shopping
Video calling
One or two televisions
Streaming
Telehealth

a midrange connection can often be sufficient.

Something around 100–300 Mbps may provide plenty of capacity for normal use.

That means current plans such as:

Spectrum 100 Mbps

AT&T Fiber 300

T-Mobile Home Internet

may all deserve comparison where available.

This is not a universal recommendation; reliability and local service quality matter.

Internet and TV for Seniors Who Watch Lots of Sports

Sports viewing can change the television decision substantially.

Before choosing a streaming or cable package, check:

NFL availability
MLB availability
NBA availability
NHL availability
College sports
Regional sports networks
ESPN
Local broadcast channels

Some sports packages are available separately through streaming services.

Others depend heavily on local market and provider agreements.

Someone who watches substantial live sports should therefore check the actual channel lineup before switching away from a traditional television provider.

Internet and TV for Seniors Who Mainly Watch Movies

Movie-focused households may have less need for conventional cable TV.

An internet connection combined with selected services might provide access to:

Netflix
Max
Disney+
Hulu
Prime Video
Paramount+
Peacock
Apple TV+

The cost can still add up when several subscriptions are maintained simultaneously.

Periodically canceling unused subscriptions can help control the overall entertainment bill.

How to Compare Costco Internet With Other Providers

A useful comparison table might look like this:

Provider	Example Entry Offer	Connection	Costco-Specific Relationship
AT&T Fiber	$50/mo for 300 Mbps	Fiber	Current Costco member offer
T-Mobile	$60/mo Rely standard price	5G wireless	Current Costco member offer
Spectrum	$30/mo for 100 Mbps promotional price	Cable/fiber-powered network	No Costco relationship established here
Verizon	$60/mo standard 5G Home price before applicable discounts	5G wireless	No Costco relationship established here

These examples are not equivalent.

Some prices are introductory, some involve different technologies, and availability varies.

Costco's current member-services pages do not show a universal Costco-branded cable television plan. Consumers seeking television can compare local TV/internet providers or combine internet with streaming services.

Are Costco internet packages specifically for seniors?

No. Current Costco internet promotions are member offers rather than senior-only plans.

Is there a Costco senior internet discount?

Current Costco AT&T and T-Mobile promotions should not be represented as universal senior discounts. Eligibility depends on Costco membership and the provider's offer terms.

Conclusion

The phrase Costco Cable TV and Internet Packages for Seniors is useful as a starting point for researching home connectivity, but Costco's current role is more specific than the phrase may imply.

Costco currently promotes internet member offers through providers such as AT&T Fiber and T-Mobile Home Internet. It does not currently appear to operate a nationwide Costco-branded cable television and internet bundle specifically for seniors.

Current Costco-linked options include published examples such as:

AT&T Fiber 300 — $50/month

AT&T Fiber 500 — $65/month

AT&T Fiber 1000 — $80/month

and qualifying Costco promotions tied to AT&T and T-Mobile service.

For households wanting television as well, the next comparison is between:

Internet + streaming TV

and

Traditional TV + internet bundles from local providers.

Providers such as Spectrum, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and other regional cable or fiber companies can then be compared according to address availability, monthly price, internet speed, equipment costs, television channels and promotional terms.

For seniors, the most valuable package is not necessarily the fastest or the one with the largest promotional reward. A plan that provides sufficient speed, predictable pricing, simple equipment and the television content actually watched may provide better long-term value.
